All of our equipment, products and supplies are for outdoor use only. These products, supplies and/or equipment are intended to assist in a temporary survival situation with the basics of fire, water and/or food. They are not complete survival kits or items or complete first aid kits or items. A full survival kit and a survival manual are essential plus the knowledge of the items in a survival kit and the knowledge of the contents of a survival manual are also essential. For each and every item of equipment, products, supplies, services, recommendation, endorsement, opinion, information, suggestion, training and/or techniques we shall not be held responsible for any hazard, harm, damage, injury, maiming or death as a result of or from the use or misuse of any and all items communicated, provided or sold by us or contained in any of our kits or packs. Some items sold or provided by us and/or included in the survival kits, packs or first aid kits are a choking hazard and/or health hazard. It is the purchaser’s and/or user’s responsibility to ensure no one has any allergies to any item, food or chemical product.

The selection and/or use of outdoors, emergency and/or survival equipment, products, supplies, services, recommendation, endorsement, opinion, information, suggestion, training and/or techniques can be hazardous, dangerous, harmful and even fatal. You must select and/or use any and all outdoors, emergency and/or survival equipment, products, supplies, services, recommendation, endorsement, opinion, information, suggestion, training and/or techniques at your own risk. Some outdoors, emergency and/or survival equipment, products and supplies, such as, but not limited to, chemicals, knives and/or pyrotechnic devices or items are inherently unsafe and can harm, damage, injure, maim or kill even when used appropriately.

Any survival situation is inherently dangerous and could result in harm, damage, injury, maiming or death.

The sale, endorsement, suggestion or recommendation of any equipment, opinion, information, products, supplies, services, training and/or techniques does not constitute any guaranty or warranty, expressed or implied, of any such equipment, products, supplies, services, recommendation, endorsement, opinion, information, suggestion, training and/or techniques or that any of these things will function when, if, or as needed in a survival or emergency situation.

The purchase or use of any equipment, products, supplies, services, recommendation, endorsement, opinion, information, suggestion, training and/or techniques from us cannot guarantee your survival, protect you, or prevent or lessen injuries. Because any survival or emergency situation can expose you, or someone with you, to hazards or risks that may result in harm, damage, injury, maiming or death, we do not warrant or guarantee that the use of any of our equipment, products, supplies, services, recommendation, endorsement, opinion, information, suggestion, training and/or techniques will prevent or protect from any hazards, risks, harm, damage, injury, maiming or death even when used appropriately.

The purchaser and/or user assumes all risk and responsibility and agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Orison Marketing, L.L.C., our persons, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, contractors, licensors, suppliers and vendors from and against any and all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from any violation or disregard of the Terms and Conditions and/or any of the Expanded Legal Disclaimer and Product Warning plus further for any and all use or misuse of any equipment, products, supplies, services, recommendations, endorsements, opinion, information, suggestion, training and/or techniques purchased or acquired from us or a third party and/or any activity related to you or your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person. Hold harmless includes, for example but not limited to, any: claim – monetarily or otherwise, harm, damage, injuries, maiming or death as a result of the use or misuse of this equipment, products, supplies, services, recommendation, endorsement, opinion, information, suggestion, training and/or techniques.

Our equipment, products, supplies, services, recommendation, endorsement, opinion, information, suggestion, training and/or techniques cannot deal with all survival or emergency situations that might be encountered. Additional survival and emergency use items are required and must be provided by the purchaser and/or user.

Some states do not permit limitations or exclusions on warranties, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

The laws, including but not limited to, knife laws, fishing laws, hunting laws, trapping laws, recreation laws and/or good samaritan laws vary in each locale, state and/or country. It is the purchaser’s and/or user’s responsibility to know all the laws and only purchase, possess or use those items or any item contained in any of our kits or packs or sold, supplied, provided, recommended, suggested or endorsed by us if it is legal for you.

Snare traps, diagrams, descriptions, information, suggestion and/or comments are for illustrative, informational and educational purposes only. Traps and trapping devices can be inherently dangerous. Harm, damage, injury, maiming or death could result even when used appropriately. Always be aware of personal, public and private safety as well as all local trapping rules and regulations if you should choose to possess, experiment, practice with or use any type of trap or trapping device. Government licensing and certification may be required. In many locales, most small animals and birds cannot legally be captured in snare traps or in other ways. Historically, snare traps were designed for survival circumstances in an emergency situation. Unintended animal species may be inadvertently captured. If you should choose to possess, experiment or practice with any trap, do so only if legal for you, of your own accord, and consider setting them in a controlled environment, without a noose, as a non-harming device, and under constant observation so as to practice your skills in a safe and legal manner.

Plastic Bag Warning.

Plastic bags can be dangerous. Some of our products are packaged in plastic bags. Always keep bag away from anyone under the age of 18. Warning: To avoid danger of suffocation keep plastic bag away from babies and children. Do not use in cribs, beds, carriages, playpens, or any potential sleeping area or position. Do not use near any part of face or head. The bag may cling to nose and/or mouth and prevent breathing. A bag is not a toy.

First Aid and Medical Warning.

In an emergency call 911. When administering first aid, you can be exposed to bloodborne pathogens which spread disease. To avoid infection, always treat all blood or bodily fluids as if they are infectious. To reduce risks, always wear disposable gloves when giving first aid or cleaning body fluid spills, and use a face shield or mask when performing CPR. When removing contaminated gloves, do so carefully to prevent any splattering of blood or body fluids and dispose of properly. After removing gloves, immediately clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub, if available; otherwise wash carefully using soap and water. We do not guarantee the medical validity of any of our products or information or the results obtained from using such products or information. We do not presume that every acceptable medical safety procedure is covered. Always seek advice from a qualified medical professional. Many common first aid incidents may require further and/or additional medical attention and/or procedures.
